MORE WORDS. PERSONAL STORY

Roots by the Sea
I was born in 1990 in Kaliningrad – once known as Königsberg – a small Russian enclave on the Baltic Sea. My creative journey began early: I was five when I first walked through the doors of a local music & arts school. For ten years, I immersed myself in every facet of music and art – exploring sound, colour, movement, and emotion. Long before I ever held a camera in my hands, I was already learning to see the world through a creative lens.

Discovering Photography
That moment came in 2004. I was fourteen when I took my first pictures with an analog camera – and something just clicked. The connection between light, feeling, and storytelling fascinated me. I knew I had found my medium.

From Jazz to Germany
By 2008, I was already photographing events and portraits – capturing real people and authentic moments with a growing passion and an ever-curious eye.
After graduating from the Rachmaninov Music College with a degree in jazz/pop vocals and music education, I packed my bags and moved to Germany – a new chapter, a new language, and endless new possibilities.

Becoming a Professional
In 2012, I began a professional apprenticeship at the Rheinisches Bildarchiv in Cologne – one of Germany’s most renowned photography institutions. I earned that opportunity thanks to the strong portfolio I had built over the years. There, I deepened my knowledge of architectural, artistic, and documentary photography. Three years later, I proudly received my professional certification and launched my own full-time photography business.

Today & Beyond
Today, I’m based in Düsseldorf, but I travel across Europe – photographing luxury weddings, families, brands, spaces, and soulful moments in between. I bring colour, emotion, and depth into every frame – always with a trained eye and a storyteller’s heart.

My favourite thing in the world?

Finding beauty in everything around me – enjoying it, capturing it, and preserving it through the way I see and feel it.
